Sure, Las Vegas is a tourist mecca.  But there’s a lot more to Sin City than slots and shows.  Here are five out-of-the-ordinary Las Vegas experiences.

Go for a honeymoon photo shoot

Have you ever wondered what happens to all the old Las Vegas neon signs?  Head north of the Strip for an awesome honeymoon photo shoot at the Neon Boneyard. Have your photos taken among 150 signs sprinkled across two acres.  And if all you want to do is see the signs, there’s an adjoining museum that’s open 24/7.

Take in dinner and a show

Of course, we all know Vegas is awash with great shows.  But for something quirky and fun, take in Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at the Cosmopolitan. You’ll enjoy reinvented American classic dishes with surprising twists at this fabulous supper club, alongside spontaneous, live music and entertainment.

Honored by OpenTable as one of the 100 Hottest Restaurants in America for 2016 and 2017, here you’ll find culinary delights ranging from inventive lighter fare such as Caviar Tacos and Crispy Oysters Rockefeller to a modern interpretation of Beef Wellington.

Dive with the sharks

Are you a certified diver?  At Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, you can dive with the sharks, and nowhere in the wild will you see so many exotic sharks in one place!  Shark Reef Aquarium is the home of over 2,000 animals, including giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, and even the rare golden crocodile.

Not a certified diver? Don’t worry.  You can become an Aquarist for a day and feed the stingrays, shark or turtle in their Animal Encounters program, or just spend a relaxing day at the aquarium.

Spend a day at the spa

You want this.  You really do.  Grab your honey and head over to the WELL Spa, just a block off-Strip, and indulge in the Platinum Painting Party, a sexy treatment that begins in a private steam room, then you’ll scrub each other down with rejuvenating salt. Next, you’ll make each other’s body canvases, and paint with detoxifying mud (no fear, there’s a shower). Finally, unwind with soothing Swedish side-by-side massages.

Ride the SlotZilla Zip Line

For a thrill, channel your inner Superman as you zoom past the bright lights of historic Las Vegas on the SlotZilla Zip Line  a 12-story slot machine that launches riders out over Fremont Street up to 40 mph.  A must!
